2008 Spring Break - Cactus Blooms
Jackson, McKenna and I spent an awesome week with Claudia at her home in Tonto Verde near Phoenix, AZ. The weather was in the 80’s all week without a cloud in the sky. We swam at the pool, played golf, and enjoyed all of the cactus that were in bloom:

Riverside vs. Colorado Springs Pride Copa
This game was played in a fierce snowstorm. It was snowing so hard the powerlines behind the field were sizzling.
Riverside scored two goals in the first three minutes of the game. The Pride team fought back and tied the game at two before halftime.
The Pride team scored early in the second half and Riverside responded with about five minutes left in the game.
The final score was 3–3.
On the sidelines several of the parents remarked about Sebastian’s amazing footwork.
The strategy of the pride team seemed to be to take out the feet of the Riverside players to reset the play so they could get into defensive position. The referee should have issued yellow cards to stop the intentional fouling strategy.
